Vintage Ceramic White Fish Planter Pair Graduated Sizes MCM Koi‎ Anthropomorphic

A delightful graduated pair of vintage white ceramic fish planters — full of personality and mid-century charm. These plump, round-bodied fish feature beautifully detailed raised scales, sculptural fins and tails, and wonderfully expressive anthropomorphic faces with painted lash details. One sports a striking teal/turquoise iris eye, the other a classic glossy black eye — a charming variation between the two. The open tops sit between the dorsal fin and tail, making them perfect for small plants, succulents, or as decorative cachepots. Details: ∙ Sold as a set of two ∙ White glaze with black and teal painted eye accents ∙ Graduated sizes — large approximately 9 tall, small approximately 6 tall ∙ No chips or cracks noted ∙ Interior shows light evidence of prior use ∙ Signed THM on bottom Style: MCM / Coastal / Whimsical / Kitsch / Cottagecore These came from a Los Angeles estate with a wonderful collection of sculptural ceramic animal planters — a home clearly curated with a love of bold, character-filled ceramics.
