Lot of 2 Vintage Fred Arbogast Jitterbug Fishing Lures – Frog Pattern  Both lures feature the classic green frog spot finish with stamped metal lips marked Jitterbug – Fred Arbogast – Akron, Ohio.  Included in this lot:   * Large Musky Jitterbug (approx. 3): Darker finish, shows age and use, hooks and hardware with rust/patina. A harder-to-find size designed for northern pike and muskellunge. Body material: Painted wood (basswood/maple). Era: Late 1940s–1950s. Hardware: Early screw-eye (hand-assembled). Hooks: Steel, rusted with patina. Lip Material: Aluminum. Marking: Deep stamped Fred Arbogast, Akron OH Size: 3 inches      * Standard Bass Jitterbug (approx. 2): Brighter green finish, overall cleaner condition, lighter wear, dual treble hooks intact. Body Material: Molded plastic. Era: 1960s–1970s. Hardware: Modernized screw-eye. Hooks: Nickel-plated steel, less corroded. Lip material: Aluminum. Marking: Same marking, shallower engraving.
