This is an announcement for a set of two Japanese umbrellas.
It is a set of a rain umbrella and a parasol.
Please be aware that the manufacturers and accessories for each are different.

First, regarding the rain umbrella,
This is a Janome-gasa (snake-eye umbrella) from the manufacturer 和傘 CASA in Gifu City, Gifu Prefecture. As you can see when you open it, I believe it is a wonderful piece of craftsmanship.

However, unfortunately, four of the ribs are broken. There are also several small holes. To the best of my knowledge, there are 3 holes in 2 places. I apologize if I have overlooked any. Please check the images.

I don't think the holes are too noticeable.
As for the broken ribs, I'm not sure what to do. I wonder if the manufacturer can repair it if I send it to them.
Or, if you are skilled with your hands, you might be able to fix it.
If you can fix it, I would love for you to use it in the rain. The sound of the rain hitting it is very elegant.
Regrettably, in its current condition, I recommend not using it as an umbrella. How about using it for display or for photographs?
It can be opened and closed, for what it's worth.

Also, because the handle looked like it might get damaged, I have attached a cover woven from thin cotton thread. This cannot be removed.

Regarding the parasol
I am unable to identify the manufacturer or other details for this item. Also, while there are no broken ribs, it is quite torn, and paper has been pasted over the holes to cover them. The condition is poor. Please check the images.

Since the ribs are not damaged, it might be possible to remake it into something lovely by pasting Japanese paper with glue.
