Kaneshige Toukou Saku Bizen Ware Nanban Tarumi Mizusashi with Original Box

This is a Bizen ware Nanban Tarare-mimi Mizusashi (water container) by Kaneshige Toukou, a tea ceremony utensil.
This was a tea ceremony utensil from when my mother was learning the tea ceremony (Urasenke school).
I do not practice the tea ceremony, so I am not very familiar with this item.
It was carefully stored at my parents' home, but I am now listing it as part of a decluttering effort.
How about this for someone who has been looking for this type of item?

*Please allow for slight errors due to amateur measurements.

It does not seem to have been used much and appears to be clean with no particular issues. However, as it is an item from the Showa period, there may be some natural age-related deterioration such as minor scratches, scuffs, or fading that are not noticeable.
Please note that there is a part on the inside of the main body where there is no glaze from the beginning [Image 7].

It comes with the original box, but the original box shows damage such as stains and dirt due to age.
Although it is a beautiful item, it is a long-term storage item and has been in someone's possession once. Please understand the current condition, check the details in the photos, and then make your purchase.
*Please note that the colors may appear different from the actual product depending on the lighting, shading, and monitor.
Also, there is a possibility of scratches and dirt that cannot be confirmed in the posted images. Please purchase with the understanding that this is a used item.
If you like it, please consider it.
