A901 Tea Ceremony Utensils, Colored Overlay Glass, Gizan, Kiriko, Mizusashi (Water Jar)

“Like a sparkling, glittering noblewoman” ❣️

This is a vintage, fresh blue colored cut glass mizusashi (water container for tea ceremony).

The quality, intricate carvings, and craftsman's affection unique to antiques are palpable ♡

It's quite rare to have a lid made of cut glass, not lacquered, and it sparkles beautifully.

Although it's a tea utensil, you can also use it as a vessel for various purposes, such as serving chocolates or bonbons for tea time, or as a flower vase. Please enjoy it as a multi-purpose item ♪

[Image 18] There is a repair on one part of the rim, but it is almost unnoticeable. There are some minor scuffs typical of antiques, but the condition is good. Please consider it!

Size: Diameter 14.5 x Height 20 cm
