I was gathering parts to build a guitar from scratch, but I haven't been able to find the time, so I'm reluctantly selling it.

The Fender Custom Shop Fat '60s are well-balanced pickups that add modern thickness and warmth to the vintage tone of the '60s. Featuring Alnico 2 magnets, they are characterized by a mellow, thick mid-low range sound with the harsh high frequencies suppressed. They are recommended for blues genres or for those who want to thicken the sound of their Stratocaster. They retain the characteristic chime of the '60s while emphasizing the fat mid-low range. They are more subdued than Texas Specials but have more mids, and due to Alnico 2, they produce a softer tone than regular Alnico 5. If installed on a guitar with a thin sound, it will dramatically thicken the tone.
