Antique Maru Obi with Peony and Paulownia Crest Design

Antique maru obi.
Estimated to be from the early Showa period.
The number of antique obis is decreasing year by year.
In particular, those in good condition with gorgeous patterns are becoming less and less common.
While this obi has some age-related wear and loose threads, it is in remarkably good condition considering its age.

Highly recommended for costumes, interior decoration, or as a collector's item.

There are some instances of loose threads as shown in images 4 and 5.
Age-related discoloration is visible throughout, as shown in image 6.

This item is approximately 100 years old.
In addition to the damage described, there may be less noticeable stains or weakening of the fabric, so please be aware of this.
