Description
This is a handmade sao-o (string loop) for Tsugaru shamisen futozao (thick neck) made by Sangen-ya.
Sangen-ya himself uses this on his Tsugaru shamisen and has found that nylon material works perfectly well.

A decorative piece has been added below the sao-o.
Some have this decoration, while others do not. There is a ring next to the sao-o, allowing you to attach keychains or charms.
Please check the photos to see if a ring is included.

Pulling the decorative cord may cause it to lose its shape, so please handle with care.
Sizes are amateur measurements, and there may be slight variations due to the handmade nature of the product.
