This is a shakuhachi bag.

I do not own a shakuhachi, so I cannot answer questions about whether it will fit.

This is Type B.
A bag has been completed that may fit shakuhachi up to approximately 58 cm in length for those with a diameter of about 5 cm.
A drawstring has been attached a few centimeters from the opening. The length can be adjusted to some extent by changing the folding position.

The gusset at the top and bottom will be taken up by the diameter of the shakuhachi.
Even if the total length of the item is long, if it is not flat, a wider diameter will create gussets at the top and bottom, making it difficult for many items to fit.
As an image of the thickness, I have included a photo of an unopened mini juice can with a diameter of approximately 5.2 cm.

Depending on the person, if you untie the string or pull out the top fold, I would recommend Type A, but for now, only Type B will be listed.

The item will be shipped folded, so I cannot be responsible for any damage. It may be helpful to lightly iron out the creases.
