These are paulownia wood geta (traditional Japanese wooden sandals) from the long-established Shosuke Geta Honpo in Aizu, Fukushima Prefecture.
Although old, they have been stored and show relatively little signs of use. They have a Showa retro atmosphere and also make a tasteful decorative item.
