Vintage 70’s Pear Cut Natural Opal Solid 14K Yellow Gold Pendant Necklace. It features a pear-shaped opal set in a 14K gold frame with a scalloped, ornate border. The central stone is an opal, known for its vibrant play of color that reflects various hues when light hits it. Given the light body tone and colorful flashes, and the fact that this was my mother’s and my parents went to Australia in the 70’s, I believe it to be a natural Australian solid opal. Measurements and both sides of the oval shown in photos. The opal pendant hangs from a new 18” 18K gold over sterling silver box chain. In excellent preowned vintage condition. Smoke free home.
