Studio Ghibli Totoro Stoneware Mug Benelic Japan w/ Box 4" Vintage Cute

There is a special kind of charm that only Studio Ghibli can capture — a gentle warmth, a sense of wonder, and the quiet magic of everyday objects. This vintage Japanese stoneware mug, designed by Benelic in Japan, brings that magic to life in a way that feels both nostalgic and delightfully modern. Crafted with a soft, natural stoneware texture, the mug features debossed and color‑filled illustrations of iconic Totoro‑world objects and characters, each paired with its Japanese name and English translation. Every tiny icon — from mushrooms to soot sprites to buckets and acorns — feels like a small doorway into the world of My Neighbor Totoro. The artwork is whimsical, educational, and unmistakably Ghibli. Standing 4 inches tall, 2.75 inches in diameter, and weighing a solid 10.3 ounces, this mug has a comforting, hand‑made feel. The debossed detailing gives each illustration a tactile presence, making the mug as enjoyable to hold as it is to admire. A perfect piece for collectors, Ghibli lovers, or anyone who appreciates the quiet beauty of Japanese craftsmanship. Whether displayed or used, this mug brings a little Totoro magic into your day. Even better — it comes with its original Japanese packaging, complete with the official Studio Ghibli licensing marks. The box itself is a collectible, decorated with matching artwork and Japanese text that adds authenticity and charm. Circa: 1990s
