A large and beautiful Japanese umbrella, a high-quality habutae silk umbrella, made by Shinsaibashi Tengu, a long-established umbrella maker.

The 48 ribs are beautiful.
When opened, it's an umbrella, and when closed, it looks like a single bamboo stalk (Photo 13).
The Japanese paper part is waterproofed with vegetable oil.
The umbrella's opening can be adjusted in two stages (Photos 6-9).

Habutae Umbrella is made from Japanese paper layered with pure silk.
It is a Japanese umbrella that combines the beauty and durability of silk.
