Snow Mountain, Mobile Chushingura, Chess, Marriage Simulator
Not a rental discard.
This is the theatrical version of an omnibus drama depicting occult phenomena in this world. It features four modern ghost stories, each about 30 minutes long, including shocking episodes that couldn't be depicted in the TV series.
Experience four completely different stories: Snow Mountain (starring Akiko Yada), an extreme horror about five people stranded on a snowy mountain after a plane crash; Chess (starring Shinji Takeda), a twist-filled suspense where chess pieces literally kill each other; Mobile Chushingura (starring Kiichi Nakai), a comical and moving story about Kuranosuke Oishi, who is hesitant about the revenge mission and finds a mobile phone that connects him to the modern world; and Marriage Simulator (starring Izumi Inamori), a relatable love story about a couple who simulate their entire married life before marriage and consider breaking up due to an unexpected future. While it might feel a bit lacking as a full-length movie, it's perfect for casual enjoyment, offering moments of touching emotion and spine-chilling thrills. (Naomi Motegi)
