118.80 $
Description
This is a men's 16-rib long umbrella, a symbol of the renowned MAEBARA KOU-EI SHOTEN, a purveyor to the Imperial Household.
Number of ribs: 16
Color: Charcoal gray, with tassel
Umbrella size: Rib length: approx. 60 cm, Total length: 89 cm
Handle size: Length 20 cm, Width 15 cm, Diameter approx. 2.5 cm, Madake bamboo
Tip protector length: 10 cm
Fabric material: Unknown
Used a few times, air-dried, and stored in a shoe closet. I believe it is in beautiful condition with no noticeable scratches or stains. There are scratches on the tip protector.
The fabric at the folds (where the ribs are creased) may appear faded with age depending on how you look at it. For reference, please see photos 8 through 11. I have clipped a piece of white paper to the nameband and rotated the umbrella 90 degrees clockwise at a time to take these photos.
Please also refer to photos 6, 7, 12, and 14 for an assessment of the fabric's condition.
It will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped anonymously via RakuRaku Mercari便 (easy Mercari shipping).
As this is a pre-owned item stored at home, please refrain from purchasing if you are seeking perfection or are sensitive to such details.
There are no pets or smokers in the household.
Returns, complaints, or requests for discounts after purchase will not be accepted.
