This is not a standard Erhu, but a slightly larger size, a bass Erhu.

This one has metal tuning pegs for easy tuning.

* The strings are thicker than a standard Erhu.
* The tuning is a perfect fifth lower than a standard Erhu, tuned to G on the inner string and D on the outer string.
* The playing method is the same as a standard Erhu.
