Genssler Contrabass Strings, 5-Piece Set (Reason for Discount)
165.00 $
Description
Handmade gut contrabass strings by Gerold Genssler, based in Berlin.
This is a 5-string set, 2024 model.
His gut strings maintain their quality for at least 2 years, and direct purchases from him come with a 2-year quality guarantee.
A 5-string set currently exceeds 160,000 Japanese Yen.
These strings were used for about 1 year and were removed from the instrument in 2025 and stored.
They have a fast response and are significantly lighter compared to strings from Pirastro or Thomastik, making playing much easier.
There is a slight fraying on the G string, which is why they are being offered at a bargain price as is.
As these are used strings, please consider them for trial purposes only.
No claims, no returns (NC NR) please.
