Vintage Mosell Faberge-Inspired Egg • Signed • Mid‑Century
Mosell

Description
Vintage Frederick Mosell gilt metal trinket egg with a pierced lattice exterior and velvet‑lined interior. Signed MOSELL inside. Measures 2.5” tall and 1.75” diameter. Inside the egg is Mosell’s original thin early plastic shell (likely celluloid or acetate) beneath the velvet lining. The plastic shows light dust from age but is fully intact. The gilt metal has moderate patina, especially near the base, giving it a warm mid‑century look. No perfume bottles or sewing notions included. A lovely piece for Vintage Décor, Vanity Décor, Whimsical, and Mid‑Century collections.
